Hi, I'm Debmeet Banerjee — a backend software engineer interested in building reliable distributed systems, clean APIs, and performant infrastructure.

I spend most of my time working across Java, Go, and cloud systems, thinking through system architecture, concurrency, and developer tooling. When I build things, I like keeping them practical and maintainable — fewer moving parts, solid fundamentals, and measurable performance.

Engineering Philosophy

I tend to lean heavily toward simplicity over premature complexity. If an architectural problem can be solved with clean data structures, straightforward workflows, and good observability, that's where I start. Heavy abstractions and complex stacks should earn their place.
